    An Orlando couple was shot while watching TV on their couch late Tuesday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said bullets went through the window of the victims' home at the Tymber Skan Condos on Windcross Lane around 11:45 p.m. A woman in her 40s was shot several times and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she is listed in critical but stable condition, deputies said.

    A woman said a strange man tried to rape her near the University of Central Florida early Wednesday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said they found the 20-year-old victim crying on Socrates Drive in Orlando, across the street from UCF, just after 1 a.m. The Sheriff's Office was notified of the attack when someone call 911 to report a screaming woman outside of his apartment, investigators said.
