A 18-year-old Stamford driver of one of the four cars the a crash on New Canaan's Silvermine Road shortly before sunset Thursday has been transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, according to New Canaan police.

    Greenwich Police are seeking the public's help in their investigation into the weekend stabbing at the Armstrong Court public housing complex on Hamilton Avenue which left a Norwalk man with life-threatening injuries. In a statement Monday morning, police said, "Over the weekend the Greenwich Police Department was notified of a male patient who had appeared at the Greenwich Hospital Emergency Room who had received life-threatening stab wounds.

    In regard to the fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Friday night, on Woodward Avenue, the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrians, Hugo Cruz-Gregorio, 33 of Norwalk, has been arrested, police said in a release. Cruz-Gregorio has been charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, evading resulting in death, evading resulting in property damage, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, unsafe movement of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating without a license.
