    On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at approximately 11:01 a.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department in reference to two deceased subjects that were located inside a residence at 525 Belcher Lane, Dunmor. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Nancy B. Coomer, 84, and her husband, Albert Coomer, 85, both of Dunmor, KY, were deceased inside their residence.

Trooper Joe Bartolotti observed the vehicle traveling southbound in excess of 100 mph and attempted to initiate a traffic stop as the vehicle ramped onto Interstate 69 southbound.

    The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on US 641 at Weldon Road, approximately two miles south of Marion, on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 11:50 a.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that Gloria Tidwell, 62, of Marion, was operating a 2001 Ford pickup truck northbound on US 641 when she lost control on the wet road. The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert.
