    Tyler County's grand jury returned indictments against 10 individuals on Feb. 10. All appeared in court before the Honorable Judge David W. Hummel Jr. on Monday for arraignment of their charges. Michael John Cross, 35, of 124 Terry Lane, Sistersville, received a one-count felony indictment, charging him with embezzlement in the amount of $23,396.50 from the Tyler County Fair Association.

The best game of the week for Wildcat fans to take in was the barn burner in New Martinsville against the Magnolia Blue Eagles on Feb. 6. Paden City gave the Eagles all they wanted for four full quarters and took the game to an overtime period before the final outcome was decided.
