    One of two New Iberia teens shot by a Youngsville business owner after the pair allegedly burglarized the man's firearms business pleaded not guilty Monday in Lafayette Parish court. According to our partners at the Acadiana Advocate, Prosecutors on Friday charged Lamar Brooks, 17, with two counts of simple burglary and a count of resisting an officer in the Dec. 28 incident that resulted in the death of his alleged accomplice, 19-year-old Latorious Walker.

A New Iberia teen was shot dead and another injured before midnight Sunday after the pair reportedly robbed a Youngsville firearms facility and tried to run over the business owner with a stolen pickup truck, authorities said.
