Sixty-six-year-old Becky Nichols of Mountain Home tells troopers she might have blacked out before the Sunday crash on Highway 5. She suffered head and face lacerations when the semitrailer carrying metal roofing fell over.

According to Baxter Sheriff's Department, the man stole a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, 50 feet of copper wire, a 42 inch television, and a jewelry box containing assorted jewelry, among other items on Oct. 26. During the investigation, police discovered Amos Joseph Duquette pawned the television.

    The Baxter Bulletin reports that the body of a man found dead Saturday at Pinnacle Mountain State Park has been identified as that of Thomas James Lovelady, 44, convicted in 1995 of the rape of a seven-year-old stepdaughter in Baxter County when he lived in Mountain Home. He was sentenced to 40 years, but paroled after 10 and has been living in Little Rock.
