Scott Surovell and Paul Krizek, a candidate for House of Delegates, have submitted nearly 500 petition signatures to the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority in support of the U.S. 1 Widening Project between Napper Road and Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. The project would expand the road to six lanes and remove the largest bottleneck on the corridor in Fairfax County, according to a news release from the two.
