    Members of the Kalamazoo City Commission on Monday approved an agreement that would consolidate Kalamazoo County's 911 dispatch operations , leaving the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners the final authority needed to sign off. If county commissioners approve the agreement Tuesday, Kalamazoo County residents and business owners will pay 42 cents each month on every device they own that can access emergency 911 services, or about $5.04 per device each year.
