Middletown police say they responded to an injury crash at the old Verity Middle School, near the intersection of Breiel Boulevard and Lefferson Road just before 3:30 p.m. Officials say they found Gary Hall, 62, was driving a 2004 Chevy Avalanche that left the roadway and traveled toward the front of the old middle school then he traveled east, crashing through a guardrail, two large fences and then crashed into the bleachers of the football field.
