The incident occurred on Aug. 29 when Tajar A. Matraku, 49, formerly of Oakville, confronted the woman and tried to kiss her on the cheek, the paper reports.

The cars were parked in the Exit 17 commuter parking lot off Interstate 84. On Tuesday, the driver's side window of another car was smashed but no items were reported stolen, the paper reports.

    A 22-year-old Middlebury man walked away uninjured after the car he was driving crossed over the center line on Meadow Street Friday, struck a wrought iron fence and crashed into a house. Ryan Ferrari, of 650 Whittemore Road, told police he was looking down at his cellphone when he lost control of the white Audi he was driving near the St. Francis Church field on Meadow Street at 4:54 p.m., according to a police report.
