Village police had charged Jacob L. Farrell, of 31 Malby Ave., Massena, with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny May 14 stemming from an investigation into a burglary at Softtail's, 273 East Orvis St., in the early morning hours of May 12. Mr. Farrell is charged with breaking a back door window to enter the bar and then stealing the cash register containing $1,200.
