MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A fire that occurred at a home in Mahopac Falls at 142 West Lake Blvd., on Tuesday is currently under investigation after the blaze severely damaged a portion of the residence. Firefighters were concerned with tankers because access to the lake was nearly impossible, according to MFVFD public information officer Jack Casey.
