    A village resident has been arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of an assault weapon as a result of an investigation conducted after a fire that occurred at his 7560 Lyonsdale Road residence on Feb. 2. Lewis County sheriff's deputies arrested Randy J. Ossont, 32, on charges of third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamines and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of an assault weapon, all class D felonies. Mr. Ossont turned himself into authorities on Monday.
