    A 42-year-old Lowville man was charged with menacing a police officer at 10:32 p.m. Monday in the village. Lowville police said Duane A. Rush menaced a Lewis County sheriff's deputy and a village police officer with a “butcher-type kitchen knife” when they responded to a domestic dispute complaint at a Park Place residence that night.
