    The Loudonville Redbirds Football team may have lost their regional championship game to Kirtland on Friday Night but the team and it's coach won a lot of new fans after they decided to take time to take a game ball signed by the team and drop it by the home of a former graduate's home in Loudonville to cheer him up as he battles Cancer. Loudonville coach Justin Todd said he had never met 1961 graduate Dave Mowery before but he knew the cancer victim and members of his family had played football at Loudonville and he thought the gesture would be a good teaching experience for his team.
