    Two Liberty residents sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 1:45 p.m. Friday in Pettis County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nicholas Z. Dieckman, 22, of Mora, who was driving east on state Route 52 pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Roger D. Shaver, 79, who was driving north on U.S. Highway 65. Dieckman's vehicle struck the passenger's side of Shaver's vehicle, and both vehicles traveled off the right side of the road.
