    Liberty, Ind. - Myrtie Jane Bothast, 67, of Liberty, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Reid Hospital in Richmond. Jane was born in Richmond on Sunday, February 23, 1947, to Robert and Lavon Russell Eckler. She graduated from Short High School in Liberty in the class of 1965. On June 12, 1965, Jane married Boyd Dean Bothast at the Liberty Church of Christ. Jane was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and cooking. In addition to her husband of forty-nine years, Jane is survived by a daughter: Dawn Hyde and husband Craig of Oxford; a son: Russell Bothast and wife Carmen of Liberty; a brother: John Eckler and wife Barb of Lakewood, Colorado; four grandchildren: Tyler Bothast, Cody Bothast, Holly LeMaster, and Miranda Hyde; one great-grandson, Owen LeMaster; an adopted granddaughter, Ashley Curry; and several nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy Eckler. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 15th, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, in Liberty, with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery in Connersville. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th, where memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.     Liberty. She had lived most of her life in Liberty. Romalee enjoyed her church and was a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Richmond. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, her family and her grandchildren. Romalee is survived by a son: Herbert Alcorn and his wife Shelly of Richmond; a daughter-in-law: Sue Alcorn of Liberty; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Romalee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman in May of 1981; four sons: Herman Jr., Kenneth, James, and Larry Alcorn; a daughter Phyllis Jean; six brothers: Gail, Gene, George, William, Richard, and Donnie Rubush; and four sisters: Crystal Brown, Mavis Beachler, Wanda Dodd, and Margurette Belcher. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19th at West point Cemetery in Liberty with Rev. Marty Holman of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church 3469 Hillcrest Rd, Richmond, IN 47374.     Liberty, Ind. - Glen Allen Bryson, 90, of Liberty died on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Arbor Trace in Richmond. Glen was born in Dunlapsville on Sunday, July 13, 1924, to Robert Clint and Ethel Nickels Bryson. He attended Union County schools and was a 1942 graduate of Short High School. Glen also attended the University of Kansas. He served in the U. S. Army 42nd Rainbow Division, Company E, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Sue Joan Bozoarth on October 6, 1946, in Cambridge City. Glen was a lifetime Union County farmer and also retired from Visteon in Connersville. He enjoyed farming, traveling, and being with his grandchildren. Glen is survived by two sons: Eric Bryson and wife Elizabeth Ann of Connersville, and Kirk Bryson and wife Tanda of Liberty; two daughters: Sara Simpson and husband Robert of College Corner, OH, and Mary Ann Wilhelm and husband Francis of Cedar Grove; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one soon to come; and several nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, who died on September 10, 2008, his parents, one brother Robert Bryson and a sister, Marjorie Thibaut. Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Cremation will follow. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors 230 West Monroe St. Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60606.     Liberty, Indiana, to Robert T. and Leona Coleman Kirtley, Dorothy lived most of her life in Richmond. She was a 1938 graduate of Morton High School. Dorothy was very caring and watched after her younger siblings, to whom she was part parent and part sister. She was a member of Reid Presbyterian Church. Dorothy enjoyed walking, playing cards and games, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She never let people down and was always there when needed. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Dan) Dorman of Columbia City, Indiana, Kay (Mike) Coggeshall of Corydon, Indiana, and Linda (James) McAdams of Syracuse, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher Dorman, Jennifer Dorman, Mark (Hillary) Coggeshall, Wade (Catherine) Coggeshall, Kelsey McAdams, Tanner McAdams, and Brennan (Brad) Granger; great-grandchildren, Grace Coggeshall and Corinne Coggeshall; sister, Mary Hastings of Richmond; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arthur Bietry, who died in 2000; parents; two sisters; and three brothers. Visitation for Dorothy Carolyn Bietry will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph T. Fields, Jr., M.Div. officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
