    A 10-foot tall metal rooster stolen from outside a business in Athens was recovered Monday in a remote forest of Oglethorpe County where Athens-Clarke police said the perpetrators had hidden it under a pile of wood. The rooster was returned Monday to Bonnie Harris, owner of Lexington Vintage, who said it was taken back to the artist's studio where it was made "for reconstructive surgery."
