The town's budget for next year will be $18,585,172, which is a 3.85 percent increase over last year's budget. In an earlier joint meeting with the selectmen, Finance Committee Chairman Jay Riley said the town was facing a $650,000 deficit if estimated assessments from the regional school department remained at a projected 6.77 percent increase.
