LAKEVIEW - Prompted by interest from a citizen, Joe Lauritson, to look into authorizing a deer hunt in Lakeview, Mayor Dennis Behling said at the city's council meeting Tuesday that he will contact the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission about obtaining the right to thin the deer herd within the city limits of Lakeview.
