    The Adirondack Scenic Railroad, which operates in the Utica-Old Forge area and on the rail corridor between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake has received a grant of $791,000 from New York state The funding will go to help pay for a new repair and maintenance facility in Utica. In a statement released Wednesday, the tourism railroad said it had been operating without full repair facilities.
