    A Lake Elsinore street was closed for several hours after a motorist crashed into a utility pole, leaving power lines strewn across the roadway, sheriff's officials said today. Deputies responded at 5:50 p.m. Monday to a report of a traffic collision on Camino Del Norte near North Main Street.

"A Nissan sedan was being driven southbound by an adult male driver from Temecula, when it collided with a support pole for the electric power lines," Riverside County Sheriff's Department Sergeant John Monarrez wrote in a press release.
