    On December 15th, 2014, shortly after 11:00 a.m., La Porte Police received an emergency call concerning a weapons discharge at a residence in the 8700 block of Orchard Ln. La Porte Police, Fire, and EMS personnel responded and an adult female was found to have been injured from a pistol shot. Initial reports indicate that a family member may have accidentally discharged the weapon from an adjacent portion of the front yard, but specific details have not been determined.
