During the search an inactive one pot methamphetamine lab, HCL generator, methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia were located inside the residence that is located next to the Marshall Starke Preschool.

    Benton Christopher Howard, 42, of Knox, turned himself in to police this morning at approximately 9:45 a.m. Howard was wanted for his alleged role in the stabbing of Brandon Davidson, 28, of Knox, on Nov. 30. Howard has been charged with aggravated battery, a Level 3 Felony, and attempted murder, a Level 1 Felony, for his alleged involvement in the stabbing of Davidson. Currently, Howard is being held in the Starke County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
