    SCE&G will conduct a test of its V.C. Summer Nuclear Station siren warning system over the next four weeks during weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. During the test, SCE&G will sound sirens located within a 10-mile radius of the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in Fairfield County near Jenkinsville. This testing is part of ongoing siren maintenance activities.

  6. SCE&G to test emergency sirens for V.C. SummerRead the original story w/Photo

    SCE&G will conduct tests of its V.C. Summer Nuclear Station siren warning system beginning Dec. 1 and ending Dec. 5. SCE&G will test individual sirens from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week. The testing period will culminate on Friday with the simultaneous three-minute sounding of all sirens located within a 10-mile radius of the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in Fairfield County near Jenkinsville.
