    An Indio man was arrested early Friday morning after a brief standoff with Desert Regional SWAT in the 81700 block of Dry Creek Lane. According to Sergeant Dan Marshall, 25-year-old Danny Ray Garcia was wanted on a felony warrant in connection to assaulting someone before stealing their car on February 16 in the 83300 block of Avenue 44. Detectives with the Indio Police Department's Street Crimes Unit identified Garcia during the investigation and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
