Two Long Island men were arrested early Thursday after they allegedly robbed a gas station in Dix Hills and detectives are now "looking into" whether the men are tied to the murder of a gas station attendant in neighboring Nassau County, authorities said.

Suffolk County Police say two men entered the Sunoco at 1888 East Jericho Turnpike, pushed a store clerk and stole the cash register at approximately 3 a.m. A short time later, Second Precinct Patrol Officer Peter Devlin observed the two men in a 2014 Nissan Altima.
