    April 24th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Hempstead man for grand larceny which occurred in Freeport beginning Monday, 10/06/14 through 02/06/15. According to detectives, Tony Theirse, 43, of Martin Luther King Dr., entered PLS check cashing located at 10 E. Sunrise Hwy., on different dates, and cashed numerous Social Security checks, belonging to his deceased mother, valued in excess of $3,000.
