    Council on Aging Director Heather Sylvia has resigned effective April 3.  Town Administrator Alan Coutinho reported the resignation Monday, saying that she is taking a similar position in another area community. Coutinho said because of the tight time frame, a temporary appointee will be needed to serve as director while the hiring process is under way.  A subcommittee has been meeting to collect applications for a new library director in Acushnet.
