Bastida-Martinez, 26, of Hanover, was sentenced last week in York County Court to 179 days to 23 months of incarceration on charges related to the June crash that killed Westminster, Maryland motorcyclist Steven Miller, 64. The Hanover man who pleaded guilty to striking and killing a motorcyclist with his van faces up to 23 months behind bars. Juan C. Bastida-Martinez , 26, was sentenced Friday by York County Judge Thomas H. Kelley to 179 days to 23 months of incarceration.

    More than 4,000 feet of natural gas pipelines will be replaced on Locust Street in Hanover Borough, according to a news release from Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania Inc. Columbia Gas is investing around $1 million to replace the lines on Locust Street between East Middle and York streets along with Spring Avenue and Pleasant Street, according to the news release. The replacement will require temporary interruption of natural gas services for customers while new pipes are being installed, according to the release.
