    The former Freedom Industries executive, Gary Southern, is set to appear in federal court in Charleston, tomorrow , following the filing of a criminal complaint on Monday, December 8. A coal washing chemical leaked from a Freedom Industries tank last January, contaminating the water supply to around 300,000 people, including to hundreds of homes in Lincoln County. The water crisis caused school closures and meant bottled water was in use for many weeks in Hamlin and surrounding communities.
