After years of saving, Ruth and Noiel were able to realize their dream of owning a farm and building their dream house. In her earlier years, Ruth attended Central Baptist Church. Ruth was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved dogs, was a wonderful cook, an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her granddaughter, Misti (Adam) Cobb of Fountain City, Indiana and great-grandchildren, Noah and Levi Cobb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noiel Anderson who died in 1987; daughter, Renae Hawkins; parents; and sister, Thelma Glidewell. There will be a celebration of life for Ruth K. Anderson at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Fellowship Church of Richmond, 655 Salisbury Road, Richmond with Pastor John Maples officiating. Burial will be held at Goshen Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
