    Emilie Busman, 20 of Jenison was westbound on Pinewood and stopped at the intersection then proceeded into the path of the northbound vehicle driven by Angela Korympa 35, of Allendale. Emilie Bushman did not receive injuries but her passenger Hailey Cearlock 16 of Grand Rapids who was sitting in the rear seat, received non life threatening injuries and was transported to Devos Children's Hospital.

    A 47-year-old Spring Lake woman was hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash north of Marne this morning. Deputies say that Lisa Peterson had overshot where she wanted to turn her SUV left from Ironwood Drive to 8th Avenue, went back and then proceeded to drive under a semi's trailer heading in the opposite direction.

John Michael Barrara admitted taking about a thousand dollars from a Chase branch inside the Alpine Avenue Meijer on May 6th, and four days earlier, held up the Ninth Street Fifth Third branch in Holland of over 19 hundred dollars.

    There are now two organizations that have formed in opposition to Governor Snyder's ballot proposal seeking to increase the Michigan sales tax by one-percent in May to pay for road repairs. The Coalition Against Higher Taxes and Special Interest Deals is the latest to file paperwork to register with the Secretary of State's office, joining the Grand Rapids-based Protect MI Taxpayers organization that formed in December.

According to Sheriff's Sergeant Matt Wildfong, 32-year-old Cheyenne Cross was southbound on 16 Avenue north of Marne, while 18-year-old Zachary Wassink of Grand Rapids was northbound.

Documents filed at US District Court in Grand Rapids claim that Brian Standiford admitted holding up that institution, along with bank branches in Oshtemo and Portage that netted him a total of nearly 49 hundred dollars, in an eight-day span that ended with his arrest following a police chase in Paw Paw on January 13 .
