MacArthur Blvd. The same suspect, referred to as the " black hoodie bandit ," is believed to have robbed a bank at another Kroger on Nov. 24, and she may be responsible for recent heists in Grand Prairie and Arlington, too. She is described as a black woman between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-4 and 130 to 150 pounds.

    An Arlington doctor and Grand Prairie nurse were sentenced to prison Wednesday for their plan to defraud the government of millions of dollars in unnecessary Medicare expenses, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney's office. Dr. Joseph Megwa, 60, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for making unnecessary home visits and ordering unnecessary medical services for Medicare beneficiaries from 2006 to 2011, according to the news release and Star-Telegram archives.
