    On Oct. 14, a grand jury in Santa Barbara, California, indicted 45-year-old Nicolas Holzer of Goleta for the vicious stabbing murders of both of his parents, his two young children, and the family dog. Holzer was charged on Tuesday with four counts of murder and one count of felony animal cruelty for the Aug. 11 killings that took place at his parents' home in Goleta where the accused lived with his parents and children, according to an Oct. 15 report by The Los Angeles Times .
