At 11:26 a.m., authorities were called to Cypress Street and Glendale Avenue, where a woman in her 20s said she was hit by a white van and complained of knee injuries, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

    The California Supreme Court declined on Wednesday to review the case of a reputed gang member convicted in a series of armed robberies - one of which was witnessed by undercover Glendale detectives - from November 2010 to June 2011, court records show. David Santos, 21, was sentenced to 20 years in prison two years ago after he was convicted of one count of assaulting a Glendale police officer, six counts of second-degree robbery and one count of attempted second-degree robbery.
