Hamblet, of Northbrook; Roger Lumpp, of Northfield; David P. Masters, of Lake Zurich; Ellen G. Robinson, of Glencoe; C. Robert Sawyer, of Wilmette; Brian E. Smith, of Evanston; and Stuart Smith, Highland Park. After the 30-minute business meeting, the Center presented Welz Kauffman, President and CEO of Ravinia Festival, who spoke about "Programming the Future - Challenges and Opportunities."

    The Glencoe Village Board voted on January 15 in favor of placing a $7.5 million referendum on the ballot which, if approved by voters on April 7, will perform a study to seek storm sewer improvements in five areas of the city, put in place street resurfacing and sidewalk repairs in various locations of the village and provide $500,000 worth of sanitary sewer maintenance upgrades. The five areas of study for the improvements would be for drainage basins at Terrace Court, Skokie Ridge, Greenwood Avenue/Grove Street/Bluff Street Drainage and Madison Avenue in addition to $6 million of improvements at the Hazel Avenue underpass.
