    A state-spanning three-man robbery crew tied to a Salinas street gang was arrested Tuesday in connection with four bank robberies in Campbell, San Jose and Gilroy over the past year, according to the San Jose Police Department. The heists earned the crew the title "Point Break" from investigators because the takeover-style nature of the robberies resembled those in the popular 1991 film of the same name, even though they neither wore the movie's signature presidential masks nor did they surf.

In addition, most residents in the Santa Clara Unified and Gavilan Community College districts have yet to receive the correct ballots because the vendor didn't send them out last week with the other vote-by-mail ballots throughout the county.
