    The Plan Commission on Jan. 6 reviewed a conditional-use permit that would allow an addition to the northernmost tenant space in the building, which was vacated recently when Starbucks opened its new location with a drive-thru in Germantown on County Line Road. The proposed 712-square-foot addition would essentially fill in the existing footprint of the space, enclosing what was the patio space used by the coffee shop, with hopes to move in as soon as early spring.

The Datka family will be hosting the open luncheon to share stories, laughs, and love for Datka, 69, who passed away two days ago after a 42-year career coaching and teaching at Germantown The luncheon was added to a schedule that will include a 10 a.m. Monday funeral mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the Falls.

    About $900 in $20 bills was reported stolen from a resident's bedroom in the 6800 block of Northfield Drive between Oct. 3 and Oct. 22. A wallet containing four credit cards, a driver's license and social security cards for the owner and her two children was taken from a purse of an employee at Hampton Court, N48 W14250 Hampton Ave., between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22. An unknown man left the store without paying for an unknown amount of Gerber baby formula at Pick N Save, N95 W18351 County Line Road, at about 4 p.m. Oct. 23. The incident, which is possibly related to an earlier theft of baby formula, was captured on video surveillance.
