25 years ago today, 1984: Hourly employees of Clark Material Handling Co. in Springfield will vote today on a tentative settlement of a longstanding grievance. The settlement follows a federal arbitrator's decision last May that gave some workers laid off from Clark Equipment Co. in 1982 the right to transfer to the company's Georgetown, Ky., facility.
