    A preliminary hearing has been set in the case of a Gallipolis, Ohio, man accused of wounding a Point Pleasant man over the weekend. Stephen M. Berkley, 32, has been charged with malicious wounding and is set to appear before Mason County Magistrate Cheryl Miller Ross for his preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. Oct. 28. The preliminary hearing will determine if there is, or is not, probable cause, and if the case is sent on to circuit court for possible further proceedings.
