A spokesperson for Galax Police Chief Rick Clark advised that Clifford Jackson Parsons, 36, of Galax, was arrested and charged October 2 with domestic assault , resisting arrest by force, assaulting a police officer, and violation of a protective order.

Clark said in a press release that Galax Police received information that Joshua Lee Cloud, 29, of Martinsville, was wanted by the Henry County Sheriff's Office for Armed Robbery and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and that he was believed to be hiding at a Galax residence.
