    The Allstate Steel Company Inc. of Jacksonville has won a $1.6 million contract to supply structural steel for the new chemistry/chemical biology building at the University of Florida in Gainesville. The five-story building at the corner of University Avenue and Buckman Drive will have more than 111,000 square feet, Allstate said in a news release.
