    On Sunday, the Norton Shores resident completed the process of moving a 4,000-square-foot home from the commercial district in Fruitport Township to his lot on Grand Haven Road, according to The Muskegon Chronicle . The seven-bedroom house, which has sat unoccupied for several years, was transferred through the county's busiest intersection starting around 8 a.m. Sunday before reaching the final destination at close to 7 p.m. It was a visibly painstaking process, involving trimming trees, temporarily removing road signs and traffic lights as well as shutting down roads, including the US-31/Sternberg Road interchange during the move.
