    The Applebee's restaurant on Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk was briefly evacuated Saturday night after smoke was reportedly discovered coming from the building's ceiling. The East Dunkirk and Fredonia fire departments and Chautauqua County Emergency Services responded to the incident, which occurred around 11 p.m. The smoke stemmed from a bulb in a recessed lighting fixture, according to East Dunkirk Fire Chief Paul Miller.
