Jeramie Brown, 37, of Eunice, and Dustin Guillory, 23, of Mamou, were booked this week into the St. Landry Parish Jail on two counts each each of criminal trespass and felony theft of cattle.

    Authorities in St. Landry Parish arrested nine people from an early morning drug roundup Thursday morning, picking up seven during the raid and booking two after they turned themselves in later that day. Lt. Clay Higgins with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office said they teamed with the Opelousas and Eunice police departments for "Operation Winter Storm" to serve arrest warrants between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. "Our goal is to crush drug sales in St. Landry Parish and the only way that can be accomplished is to work together with all local law enforcement agencies," Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said in a statement.
