    Brian Lund, director of business services for the Estes Park R-3 School District, reported to the board that a refinance of general obligation bond funds, originally issued in 2006 and 2007, will save taxpayers in the district up to $1 million over the life of the bond repayment. Ever since some of the debt was refinanced in 2012, the possibility of refinancing the remaining portion in 2015 or 2016 had been discussed, Lund explained.
