Police say a pick up truck hit the duo on County Road 800 East near U.S. 252 just before 10 p.m. The female rider on the bicycle was taken to IU Methodist Hospital by medical helicopter.

On June 1 and 2, no traffic will be allowed on the east side of I-65 at the Big Blue River bridge.

Two southbound I-65 lanes are open to motorists in the southbound right lane and on the southbound right shoulder, which has been reinforced and widened to carry traffic loads.
