    A Brewer woman was taken to a hospital in Damariscotta on Wednesday with complaints of chest pain after a collision at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 27 in Edgecomb, according to Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Chad Gilbert. Stephanie Hamlin, 46, of Brewer, was driving a red Subaru Outback north on Route 27. As Hamlin was attempting to stop at the Route 1 intersection, her vehicle slid past the stop sign and into Route 1 traffic, striking a northbound silver Toyota Tacoma pickup, Gilbert said.
