    A Dublin woman called off the hunt for coyotes that had been planned for early Sunday morning on property off of Brand Road, apparently because of the uproar it had caused. Dublin City Councilman Greg Peterson said Kelly Rish contacted him today and said she had called off the two hunters she hired to cull coyotes from 11 acres of Washington Township land next to her Brandon subdivision.

    In the first incident, stainless steel Whirlpool appliances were reported stolen from the site of a house being built in the 7100 block of Emmet Row Lane at 8:34 a.m. Jan. 14. A contractors representative told police it is believed the theft occurred between 5 p.m. Jan. 13 and 6:50 a.m. Jan. 14. According to Dublin Division of Police reports construction of the house was nearly complete and the structure was locked and secured when work crews left about 5 p.m. Jan. 13. Reports said the thieves are believed to have used a large flathead screwdriver to pry open the double entry doors at the rear if the structure. The break-in damaged the $2,600 entry doors.
